The museum awards this prize to those professionals from gastronomy of renowned prestige in recognition of their work in disseminating Basque gastronomy.

Illustrious public figures
Patxi Antón, the promoter responsible for setting up the museum.
Jose María Pagazartundua handed over most of the menus of the collection to the museum.
Bernardo Atxaga donated a recipe book dating from 1861 to the museum.
Obdulio López de Uralde designed the mosaics of the now-defunct La Antonia restaurant of Vitoria, today preserved in the museum. |
